Who we are

MIDE Seguros is an independent insurance agency with an office in Fort Worth, Texas. We help individuals and families with Medicare, Marketplace (ACA) health insurance, private health plans, dental, hospital indemnity and financial services. In this policy, “we” means MIDE Seguros and its licensed agents.

Information we collect

What you give us: name, phone, email, ZIP code, date of birth and any details you share when you fill out a form, call us, message us on WhatsApp or email, or book an appointment.
Information to quote or enroll: when you ask for a quote or enrollment, we may need details such as household income, Medicare number, medications or preferred doctors. We only ask for it when your application requires it.
Basic technical data: our hosting provider logs data such as IP address and browser type for security and to keep the site running.
Preferences in your browser: if you change the text size, that setting is saved only in your own browser (local storage). We never receive it.

How we use your information

To answer your questions and follow up with you.
To compare plans and prepare quotes.
To help you apply or enroll in a plan, with your permission.
To serve you after enrollment (renewals, changes, questions).
To comply with the laws and rules that apply to insurance agents.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information. We only share it with the insurance carriers, enrollment platforms or government agencies needed to quote or process the plan you choose, and only with your authorization; with service providers that help us operate (for example, website hosting, email or appointment scheduling), who must protect it; or when the law requires it.

Mia, our assistant

Mia is a frequently-asked-questions assistant that runs inside your browser using pre-written answers. It does not store your conversations or send them to us. For personal help, Mia points you to WhatsApp, a phone call or booking an appointment.

Links to other websites

Our site links to third-party websites such as insurance carriers, Medicare.gov, HealthCare.gov, the Social Security Administration, WhatsApp and our scheduling and application tools. Each site has its own privacy policy, and we encourage you to read it.

Communications

We only contact you about what you asked us for or about your policy. You can ask us at any time to stop calling or messaging you, and we will honor your request.

How we protect your information

We use secure connections (HTTPS), limit access to the people who need it to serve you and follow the privacy rules that apply to the insurance industry. No system is 100% secure, but we work hard to protect your data.

Your choices

You can ask us to review, correct or delete the information we have about you, except what the law requires us to keep. Email or call us and we will help.

Children

Our site is not directed to anyone under 18. If a minor needs coverage, a parent or guardian handles the application.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. When we do, we will change the “Last updated” date on this page.
